Mental Health and Nutrition

Fast food has many calories and fat vs. vitamin and mineral. Which mean your body is not getting the vital nutrition it needs, causing a deficiency. This deficiency can cause, mood swings, and lack of sleep, among a host of other problems with can lead to harmful effects in a mental healthy person.

If you suffer from a mental illness avoid alcohol, and a poor diet. Instead see your nutritionist for a diet that's right for you.

How is Your Mental Health

Believe it on not, 8-12% of the population has experience a mental health crisis each year. Depression is one of the most common diagnoses in the mental health field. Britain reports a mixed anxiety/depression diagnose for 9% of its population.

Although mental health has grown in our concern serious cases only account for a relatively small proportion. This small group also account for multiple crisis, meaning more than one mental health problem - also called "co-morbidity". The rough estimate of this group size is approximately 450 million people worldwide.

When treated most mental ill patients are no longer affected, usually reported after 18 months. However, low income people --long term sick or the unemployed, are more likely to suffer longer from their mental illness. Women are more likely to seek treatment than men (29% compared to 17%).
